CHEF’S SHIPPING CONTAINER HOME

This is an on-grid shipping container conversion over two storeys with kitchen, diner, office space and bedroom.

Every detail has been hand crafted and installed in-house, including the feature Sapele and Redwood stair case, and teak kitchen worktops and bedroom furniture.

Our electrican Ben designed, specified and carried out the electrical installation. This home has 230V AC electrics powering lighting, SMEG cooker, fridge, water pump, and cooker hood. Lighting features downlights as well as decorative wall lights chosen specifically by the client. Further touches include recessed LED under cabinet lights as well as upstairs/downstairs switching.

Much of this work was undertaken under a former business constallation, and was co-built with Carmine of Adrift Conversions.
