Completed in July 2023, this Ford Transit is a purpose built summer camper, built to the spec of our client, a professional designer, Emma.
It features:
A unique mustard Velcromat kitchen with a jointed worktop made of locally grown Chestnut. We kept the weight of the carcassing down by using Lightweight Poplar Ply, and used RV Lab Handles for ease of functionality.
Thetford oven, hob, and 12v compressor fridge.
Bespoke window reveals made of locally grown oak, inlaid with magnetic strips to pick up magnetic curtains - also made in house.
Recycled plastic Therma fleece, and Celotex insulation, then clad in white washed timber cladding.
Beautiful cork tile floor.
On grid/off grid solar set up : a 320W Solar Panel, 250 Ah battery, Victron 12v system, 240v hook up.
12v pump for the underslung fresh water tanks, ignition for the hob and oven, 12v drop lights, USB ports, 240v plug sockets.
Maxx Air vent.
Heating in the vehicle is provided by the Truma diesel space heater, which also provides hot water on demand.
Bespoke made mattress, under bed storage and boot space.
Swivel seat, again fit in house.
